Performer applications will open March 1, 2019 and close March 31, 2019.
We had an amazing turn out for applications for our inaugural festival. While we were hopeful the burlesque community would be excited to join us, even we were surprised at the response!
The application fee for the festival is $15, and you may submit up to 3 acts. March 1-7, applications are free for performers of color. Fire is allowed with proper insurance. Freestanding aerial rigs are allowed, pending height, with proof of insurance. Rigging from the ceiling is not possible in this venue. The stage is accessible, but please request accommodations so we can be prepared via email (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Performing in a venue in Nashville that serves alcohol (ours does) necessitates blue law coverage. Underbra and Fuller coverage bottoms are required to participate in the festival. Click here to learn more.
What happens when I submit?
- You’ll get a confirmation message that your application submitted here on the site.
- You’ll also be presented with a link to pay your application fee. You must submit payment to be considered.
- You’ll get an email confirming your submission (if you don’t get it check your spam. If it’s not there, you may have entered your email incorrectly; email us for confirmation email@example.com.)
- This email also includes the timeline for the festival: we’ll be accepting applications until Sunday, March 31, 2019. All applicants will be notified of their status by June 5.
